Why don't race cars use one size for an engine? This way you greatly reduce the total number of tools needed.

The gauges are not jdm aftermarket they are OEM my celica has them to. In fact I think most Toyotas in that era had them from factory. Proof that old school toyotas and cars in general were built more practical and more functional, without leaving good taste and style behind

That thing is in very good shape for the year it must of been garaged all the time it was not in use because the dash and interior is like new and it was really took car of what a awesome find.

My questions about cars that have been sitting in garages for many years is, 1. Why has it been sitting there for so long/ What's wrong with it? 2. After sitting for so long, what is the condition of the entire car, especially the motor? 3. After sitting for so long, the fluids, the upholstery and the gauges, made of plastic in some cars are also in bad shape. No matter how low the overall miles are, I would be very leery of purchasing a vehicle like that. The expense of restoring it to an operational state will be very expensive depending on what kind of car it is. Also, if it's an older car then parts will be very hard, if not impossible to find.

Your cars would be cleaner, cheaper, faster and better if you went to electric. But then again, your business model may suffer.

quickest way to bet the crank bolt off is just bolt on a starter hook it up to a battery use a good 1/2 inch ratchet with long breaker bar, last one I did we carefully layed the engine down on the exhaust side on the floor, then hit the starter. Do Not Attempt this on and engine Stand!!!

Great 1st gen example. I had a '77 coupe with a 5-speed manual. The fuel tank fill was on the drivers' side 'C' pillar behind the quarter window. I loved that car. I bought it in my early 20's (mid '90's), for $700.
